Admissions

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

The admission process is published through –
• Prospectus – Prospectus and application forms are issued to the candidates and are invited within a stipulated period of time. The prospectus provides information about the rules and regulations of the college, eligibility criteria, courses available, fee structure, scholarships and other college activities.

• Information regarding admission to different courses is also displayed on the College Notice Board; from time to time.
• In addition to the above criteria the government reservation policy for admission is strictly followed.
• The college strictly follows the government reservation policy – Various admission committees consisting of faculty members and a senior teacher as the coordinator monitored by the Principal undertake the responsibility of the entire admission process.
• Admission registers are prepared which is daily reported to the Principal and the register is open to all. Eligibility is obtained from the North Maharashtra University. The students of S.Y. & T.Y. classes should attach the attested copy of mark sheet of the previous examination to the admission form.
• External students of other University are not eligible for admission.
• Students from other colleges with the jurisdiction of N.M. University must produce T.C. at the time of admission in this college. Such students will have to obtain a written permission from University for the change of college.
• Normally no change is allowed in the subject once offered by a student. However any change in the subject can exceptionally be allowed by the authorities. The last date for allowing the change in subject is notified separately on the notice board.
• The students from disadvantaged community are provided counseling during the admission process. They can reimburse their fees when they receive Government Scholarships.

 

UNIVERSITY ELIGIBILITY PROCEDURE

  1. Every student seeking admission to any graduate or postgraduate course of North Maharashtra University, for the first time is required to obtain Eligibility from University. A student has to apply in prescribed form and pay the prescribed fees to obtain Eligibility.
  2. Following documents are required to be submitted along with the prescribed application form.
    1. Original mark sheet (for other University students)
    2. Migration Certificate
    3. Passing Certificate
    4. Attendance Certificate
    5. Transfer Certificate
  3. It will be the responsibility of the student to see that his eligibility certificate and other certificates are secured by him from the previous University / college and that they are produced to the college along with eligibility certificate form before the prescribed date.
  4. College shall not be responsible for any consequences of non-grant of eligibility by the University.
  5. Students are advised to take note of notices at the appropriate time.

 

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Generally, the college admission process starts in the month of May or the next day of the declaration of the results of the qualifying examination. The admission are given as per the reservation policies of the Govt. of Maharashtra and Rules of North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon

Following are the general rules for admission in the college:

  • Admissions are given on first.
  • Medium of Instruction: Arts Faculty—Marathi only.
  • The Principal reserves the right of admission.
  • The students seeking admission to first year degree course should submit the original School Leaving Certificate, and original statement of marks of +2 level along with two attested photocopies. The original L.C. will not be returned to the student under any circumstances.
  • All admissions are valid only for one academic year and are subject to the satisfactory attendance and performance in tests / tutorials etc.
  • The Students requiring Transfer Certificate should apply in prescribed form and pay T.C. fee in the college office.
  • It is mandatory for all students to attend all lectures, practical sessions, tests, project and other internal examinations
  • The students should appear for the college internal examinations. Those who will not appear for the internal examination they will be penalized for the same.
  • Annual social gathering will be held.
  • Use of MOBILE PHONES in college class rooms is strictly prohibited.
  • The ragging is strictly prohibited in the college campus.
  • Parking rules for two wheelers are mandatory.
  • Change in the subject will not be allowed after 31st of August.
  • The decision of the Principal shall be final and binding in all matters
  • The Principal reserves the right to amend / modify rules. For more details regarding the courses and individual admission process, please refer to the prospectus of the courses.

FEES PAYMENT / REFUND OF FEES

PROCEDURE FOR PAYMENT OF FEES

  1. The students can pay the fees at Cash Counter.
  2. The amount of fees must be paid on the same day to the Clerk.

REFUND OF FEES

Vide circular No. 126/2003 from North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon refund of fees shall be as under.

  1. If a student leaves the college within 15 days from the date of his/her admission, total amount of fees will be refunded.
  2. If a student leaves the college from 15 to 30 days from the date of his/her admission, only tuition fee will be refunded. However 20% fee will be deducted from other fees.
  3. If a student leaves the college after 30 days from the date of his/her admission, refund of any kind of fees will not be given.
  4. For EBC students and wards of primary teachers and freedom fighters, deposits will not be refunded if such a student leaves the college after 15 days from taking admission.

Scholarships are provided as per the norms of Government of Maharashtra.

As per state and National government facilities we give opportunity for gating scholarship.
