Student Activities
NSS
NSS is a community service program sponsored by the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, New Delhi. The Motto of the N.S.S is ‘Not Me But You’. Objective of the N.S.S is development of the personality of student through community service.The NSS unit of Pankaj Mahavidyalaya was started in 2003. Every year 100 students are enrolled / registered, with more than 50% participation of girl students. Students are expected to dedicate 120 hours for social work and attend the camp during the year. Certificates are awarded to students who satisfactorily complete the attendance norms.
Environmental Study Tour
Environmental Studies is compulsory and additional subject for first year students. Besides its daily lectures students are encouraged to plant and grow more tress, they are provided an opportunity to observe nature and to study it through tours and trekking camps.
Educational Trip
Tours and exercise play a key role in developing and broadening a child outlook and efforts in increasing knowleddge and promotion of thinking. Round the college provides numerous opportunities to the students to visit different places. College Also arrange a special educational trip i.e. to Visit Historical & Geographical places, Plant Visit, Lb visit and etc. for clarifying the students view related to syllabus.
Cultural Program
Every year, College organises social gathering to provide opportunities to the students to show their talent qualities and potentials. On this event, various programmes such as debating and elocution competition, exhibitions, drama competition, sports competition, quiz competition, blood donation camp, variety entertainment and cultural programmes, extempore speech and fancy dress competition are organized. Annual social gathering has been arranged by college during every educational year. Many competitions, games, fun fare etc. are arranged during gathering. This grand event takes place in disciplined and sporty manner.
